Rowe's Bio Randy & Dana Rowe were married in 1980 and they have two sons; Jered who is 19 years old and in his second year of college at Evangel University and Jeremy who is 16 years old. Randy has been involved in Teen Challenge since 1979 when he began ministering in Denver, Colorado. He holds a BA degree in Biblical Literature from North-west College in 1979. He earned his MA degree in Psychology and Counseling in 1982 from University of Northern Colorado, and earned his Ph.d. in Christian Psychology in 1992 from International Seminary. Randy became an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God in 1982. Dana has worked for Teen Challenge since 1980 in Denver, Colorado. Dana earned a BA degree in Education in 1982 from Metropolitan State College, and has a minor in Psychology. She became a certified teacher in 1982. She has also had extensive training and experience in helping those who have suffered sexual and physical abuse. After directing the Teen Challenge home in Denver, Colorado for five years, together they found Teen Challenge Christian Academy in Sundance, Wyoming, serving adolescents throughout the United States. They continued this work until July 1996. Randy also concurrently served as Executive Director of Teen Challenge of the Dakotas. They moved to the Bay area in 1996, assuming the responsibilities of Teen Challenge Southbay & Eastbay. They love living in the Bay area. In addition, in 1998 Randy founded the Northern Nevada Teen Challenge home for treating adolescent boys with life-controlling problems. Randy currently serves as a board member for Teen Challenge of Nevada. He also serves as Regional Director for the Western United States on the Teen Challenge national Board of Directors. |
